"Giving Honor to Whom Honor is Due" ~ Romans 13:7
Operation Honor is the military veteran outreach and support ministry of Faith Family Church. We seek to honor, reach, and serve all active duty, reserve, and veteran military families in our community while providing encouragement, support, and connection through a wide-variety of "Missions."

Illinois Joining Forces (IJF) is a statewide, public-private network of veteran and military serving organizations. We collaborate in person and online to help service members, veterans, and their families identify and marshal resources and services available to them throughout the state.
The mission of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs (IDVA) is to empower veterans and their families to thrive. We do this by assisting them in navigating the system of federal state and local resources and benefits; by providing long-term health care for eligible veterans in our Veterans’ Homes; and by partnering with other agencies and non-profits to help veterans address education, mental health, housing, employment, and other challenges.
The Illinois Warrior Assistance Program (IWAP) provides confidential assistance for returning Illinois veterans as they transition back to daily living after serving our country. IWAP is also available to family members including the spouse and child(ren) of eligible veterans.
Our goal is to help service members and their families deal with the emotional challenges they may be facing, especially when dealing with emotional challenges and struggles.
Children’s Home + Aid partners with children, youth and families whose potential is at risk to create hope, opportunity, and bright futures. As advocates for families, CH+A counseling services provide therapeutic intervention for children and parents involved in the child welfare system in foster care, intact families or adoption situations. These counseling services help improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families and maximize the family well-being and academic achievement of these children.
The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text.
